Benefits of Heat-Free Technology

The recent IPCC report is code RED for humanity… If we act fast a catastrophe can be avoided, but that means making serious changes to the way we are currently living. 

There is hope that deep cuts in emissions of greenhouse gases could stabilise rising temperatures.

*Temperatures will reach 1.5c above 1850-1900 levels by 2040 under all emissions scenarios

*The arctic is likely to be practically ice free in September at least once before 2050 in all scenarios assessed

* There will be likely increases in fire weather in many regions

Epson’s scientists who they are working closely with have predicted that the worlds permafrost will thaw entirely by 2100 drastically changing ecologies, raising global sea levels and releasing over 950 tonnes of methane into the atmosphere… But we can change this , by making changes in our lives, which is why we have joined forces with Epson to promote their Turn Down The Heat campaign for their Heat Free Technology. 

By investing into energy saving technology, it will save us money in the long term while immediately reducing our carbon footprint. With Epson’s heat free technology with low power consumption devices it means less energy , less fossil fuels which means less carbon emissions going into the atmosphere. 

Epson’s heat free technology uses up to 83% less energy because it does not use heat to warm up, this results in significantly less power consumption, meaning less carbon emissions are being released into our atmosphere. 

Epson inkjet printers use Heat-Free Technology to deliver advanced customer benefits. 

Epson Heat-Free Technology does not require heat in the ink ejection process. instead pressure is applied to the piezo element, which flexes backwards and forwards firing the ink from the printhead. in contrast, laser printers need to heat the fuser to enable printing. which in itself is such a long process and it uses so much heat. which is why we are promoting the Heat-Free Technology as it reduces wasted time waiting for the printer to heat up, increasing office productivity and lowering the carbon emmissions.
